Jonathan Mendelsohn [website], an instructor of English at the University of Toronto, is currently working on his first novel. The book, which might just be a love story, is set in Japan, where he lived for five years. He has previously published in newspapers in Canada and magazines in Japan, including areviewof Haruki Murakami’s Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman.
