Jenna Le was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, but now lives in New York City. She holds a degree in mathematics from Harvard University and has worked as a physician in Queens and the Bronx, New York. She is the author of Six Rivers (NYQ Books, 2011), which was a Small Press Poetry Bestseller. Her poetry, fiction, essays, and translations of French poetry have appeared or are forthcoming in AGNI, Barrow Street, Bellevue Literary Review, Massachusetts Review, Measure, Southampton Review, 32 Poems, and elsewhere. She has won the Minnetonka Review Editor’s Prize and the Pharos Poetry Competition, been a William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition finalist, and been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and a PEN Emerging Writers Award.
